250-500cc Power valve cover sealing

    My manual does not list a gasket for the front power valve cover on a 250. My new top end kit comes with the 5 o-rings, but should I use sealant between the cover and cylinder also?

    I've not had said cover off mine yet, but my manual (2011) also shows no gasket. I'm heavy with the pressure washer so I would put a light smear of sealant on the mating faces.

    I just did mine yesterday and the athena gasket set I had did have the power valve gasket.

    5 o rings are for waterways around the exhaust cover bit on the front.
