Not sure how many,if anybody knows who Dave Mirra is,but just saw he died of self inflicted gun shot wound today. He was a legend in bmx. Not sure of details of why but, was only 41 and left behind wife and 2 kids. Way too young to leave the world.
RIP. I bought my son a mirraco bike last year, mainly because it was Dave Mirra's company. That just sucks man. He was a badass!
ugly and very sorry situation for sure. permanent solution for a temporary problem. I wonder what doctor prescribed meds he was on............I would bet at least one.
I really hope that wasn't the case. Although there are some Dr.'s that will prescribe anything you want. And side effects from these "meds" nowadays are worse than initial problem.
I wonder if CTE is a factor like with the NFL suicides. I assume he crashed a lot and had head- ground- ramp collisions.
