Yes that can be fixed ... Any pipe guy can do that work or just hold the pipe in a vice and stick a long rod in the exhaust opening and bend it back out from the frame ... U might can use a little heat on the bend but be careful as the heating can weaken the pipe over time ...

Anth, you haven't killed it mate my one on the 360 looks worst and you can fix it by placing the neck in a vise and then using an oxy, from where the bent part is, heat the top of the bend and the bottom. Then carefully use a bar to lever it out making sure not to kink it too much with too much heat, try to localise it....enough to clear the frame.
I'm not bothering to replace the chamber as it's going to happen again, but if you do, grab a whipps alloy pipe cage - the best pipe cage (wish l kept it) that protects that bend coming from the neck.
PS.. I keep my chamber loose so when a it does drop on the side, the chamber can give a bit.

This was about the only thing I did not like on my 02 CR250 ... I crashed often on that pipe ....

ok i tried to fix the pipe last night :(
probably not the best idea to try a crow bar LoL
so i took the pipe off and going to my friends factory
tonight to have a go with ohmygowd's method :)

    Hi Anth,

I've highlighted in your pic the rough area.
I would measure the outlet so if things get out of alignment, at least you have a base.
If you use a soft jaw vise and a pipe that roughly fits the neck, then you won't endanger crushing the neck. Then grab a flat bar, insert from the top and push forward, heat and insert the bar from below and do the same.

Also, afterwards you may need the long pipe to realign whole chamber from the neck...give it go.

U can fix it .. maybe not 100% perfect but it can be done ... Just et it off that water hose ... I've run mine almost touching out there before ... U might want to wrap the hose in something to help keep heat away for future bends while riding ....

UR cam has very good audio capabilities :)

thanks ray, i was thinking of running a hose around the water pump pipe just incase i do it
again and maybe some hydraulic pipe flex wire like they have on bobcats.
btw the camera is a contour HD 1080.

Thats a good cam .... I gotta get one .... U can also use a zip tie to put that radiator hose back some clse too the engine .... I had a couple 2C racing pipes and they much thinner than the PCs and I really trashed them ...They need a new neck welded on them as I just crashed too often on the left side ....

After l've pulled that bend out, l just put two hose clamps so that if it every bends again it will rest on these clamps rather than burn the rubber..

I'll post pics of my lovely unit which l'll need to do what ray_ray has done in reweld the neck...you'll see what l mean :)

ok last night my mechanic friend and i had a go fixing the pipe. we'll do some more work on it to get it
to align properly but at this stage the oxy worked well and the cooling tubes clear the chamber better than
before. i'll keep you updated

by the way the pipe is from an 05 WR250 so it never really fitted that well and was secured to the
bash plate and needs to move 40mm up and backwards

Looking good!! If it never fitted on properly, get it close to the original spot if not closer (you may need to bend the tags) and just be watchful that the pipe slips on straight and bolts up without twisting/pushing at the slip on end or over time it will cause a split.

I've only worry about making sure neck fits flush and the pipe slips on straight and if the mounting holes are just out, save the rubber mounting block by making a slotted piece of steel and bend until the chamber can connect to the existing runner mounting blocks (like in your pic measuring 35mm out).
PS. I have the lower mounting point loose (longer bolt) to allow the chamber to move so the top rubber mounting block take sthe shock of smacks from the left side.... i try not to whack that side but....:)
Good Luck and great effort in DIY.
