250-500cc Pro circuit fitted :)

Just waiting for the boys to rejet her really surprised at how small the tail pipe is compared to the big factory hotdog.

The stock mufflers are huge, my bike already had an aftermarket silencer on when I bought it. I was curious as to how heavy the stocker is compared to an aftermarket silencer without spark arrestor.

i didnt even think of checking the weight difference, shld have. was also supprised at how similar the shape and design of the factory race pipe is against the PC pipe. I hope there are some gains to be had

If you had the factory race pipe on there before I will be very interested to hear how you think they compare.

BTW- Where did you find a "works" style PC pipe? Is it the "02PC250" pipe?

I was wondering this as well. i asked the shop for the platinum pipe and this is what I recieved.
I ordered it from Halls cycles I just read the procircuit site and the platinum and works are idential only the works isnt coated.

Interesting. I didn't know Hall's had any more of the "works" pipes.

Halls in the USA. i asked them why its a works pipe and they said its the same design as glens GNCC pipe. soon find out what its tuned for.

Where did you get the oversized fuel tank ?

I have a "WORKS" pipe from Glenn Kearney's bike on my 300. Its powdercoated black since it was raw steel. My favorite part is that it looks stock except for the PC badge welded on.

Thats the one K5. hopefully i dont have to powdercoat it as i like the raw finish and it doesnt get wet here much at all .

re the tank its an IMS tank designed and listed for an older model husky 250 from memory. i didnt much like the clarke design as all the fuel was sitting hight and more forward. this design is more central

Verdict after fitting the pipe and rejetting is nothing to rave about but after my first ride there is No more harsh power band hit, seems to pull smoother all the way thru the rev range.
