    I have used them. they are a cast piston, and seem to be of sound construction. It is not the piston that you need to worry about, but rather the ring material. But if the kit is made for your model bike, then the rings are made of the right kind of stuff to be compatible with a coated bore.:thumbsup:

    I have seen athena, wossner, wiseco, vertex, and pro-x and pro-x would be my last choice it looks to be the poorest made of the bunch.
