Strated with a Husky 390auto motor in bits. But really liked the 1982 CR250 styling so how hard could it be to fit the motor in a frame? Well scratch built frame to fit 1978 motor as they are longer ,ordered tank, then Credit card got frauded so ended making an english wheel to make a tank.Ordered DC plastics (Very nice) and extreme twin shocks, found an old 1987 WR husky rear wheel and swing arm that should work.Check out progress in the coming months .
Required coil for ignition,Slided plus needle for 38mm round slide carb. Drum brake for the front with real stopping power (any ideas)

You have some very good fabrication skills! Nice work. If you had an 82 frame that 390 auto motor would bolt right into it with the correct front mounts. For the front drum brake with good stopping power you can use the dual leading shoe brake from the 83-84 Huskys.

I was lucky to even find a old air cooled auto motor in NZ other wise yes that would have been an easy option. Ill look for a 83-84 drum set up

Impressive craftsmanship. I've been in awe of folks on TV fabricating bike parts, you are right up there with the pros. Can't wait to see what else you create with this project.
