    Gday,

New here / first post, long time lurker.

From Australia where everything is upside down and it's hot or cold, no warm!.
Long story short, have a 2001 te570 and am in the middle of a full rebuild on pretty much everything as well as converting it over to mostly motard setup (so will have new forks and everything to match so on the road it's a beast).

My main problem I have is this, has anyone put a elec starter switch on / added a battery etc for all electrics before?.

I'm ok with spending money to get it to work as I paid next to nothing for the bike in the first place, so if I have to spend a few thousand and then sell it for a few more on top, winner winner chicken dinner!.

Also has anyone got any advice on what pistons will last longer then stock as I completely destroyed mine, have been thinking of making something myself, however if there's an 'off the shelf' kit etc I'd rather do that as I don't have much free time!

Cheers and spose I should chuck up a pic, this is as it currently sits in my living room.

If it's a left kick I don't think it can be done. Well not un less you have some very good engineering skills and are able to mod the engine side cover
