250-500cc Putting the Vforce reed cage on an older WR250 ???

I have a 2000 WR250. I wonder if putting a V Force reed cage on would be an improvement? The newer Wr250's came with the V force from the factory...

It should give you better throttle response.

Thanks. I had modified a CR250 (Honda) Rad valve to fit but the angle of the carb is different and once I started racing the Husky, the carb started falling off (maybe I bought the wrong year Rad valve?). I went back to the stock reed cage with Boyesen reeds...

You pay the shipping and you can have my stock V2. You'll have to replace the reeds.

I put VForce 2 on my '00 WR250 when i had it and it was an improvement. Friend has the bike now.

Check some of the threads, but someone posted about using sled petals in place of the standard replacement petals.
