I got my 144 running and tried it out last weekend, it works just like described in the forums, so I need to order a PWK carb for it. Just went to your website, and you are listed as sold out. Please tell me more will be in very shortly. I would love to have one in my bike for next weekends race.

I just answered your Email with news your probably not going to be happy about. Look on Ebay or see if anyone has one in stock. I am told they are on national back order right now.

Is there a list of which PWK carbs work well for a 2009 WR144? I have found that it is a 38mm, but can't find much saying which models or which bikes it should be taken from. Many on eBay look like they have a solinoid and extra sensor in them (suzuki). If I pick up one of these, will it work?

I found a couple references to PWK carbs for KTM's on this site and found some "Air Striker" carbs on eBay that look like they do not have any extra sensors. Just not sure what will work. Any help or a link to a thread I haven't found would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

servicehonda is cheap and they should have what you need for a 2000 CR250.

Yes. Probably on my Yamaha YZ250F though. I need to find a good carb for my 144 before I race that bike - hopefully before Stone Lake next weekend!

Look me up at the track Jason - White Yamaha with green trim, #793. Should be in a white pickup and will have my wifes blue YZ144 in along too, #794.

I would but I won't be at carver- not this time. I'll be at stone lake though. I did huntersville last weekend and heard stone lake Is a tough one. Guess I'll be trading endless whoops for endless rocks?

Let me know how carver goes. This will be the 2nd year and Im curious how it Is running the actual full course. I expect it will be a little dryer than last year.

    Jason,

The grass sections were very nice.
Dirt sections in the woods were awesome.
Sand sections in the woods were deep and really sucked the first time through. Second and third times through I was able to ride them pretty fast until I caught some slower riders. A nice groove formed in the racing line, and if you kept your wheels in the groove, you could really go.
Gravel pit - really needed 1/4" of rain to knock the dust down. My first time though I was just looking through the dust trying to see helmets and hoped nobody rode over a dropoff.
    Bridges we all slippery.

It was hot and dusty, but a lot of fun. The "tight" sections only lasted a couple hundred yards at a time, so it was mostly third gear for me, probably 4th gear for the fast guys.

Sounds dusty but fun. How long did it take to run the course? Miles? Just curious I've never done a hair scramble, just starting enduros. Looking forward to stone lake.
