Got a chance to take a spin on a '10 TXC250 and all I can say is Wow!
What a difference F/I and the button make in comparison to the '10 TC250.When you turn the throttle it's like the motor is wired to your right hand.
The new engine and chassis make it feel so much lighter then '09 and earlier TXC250s.The S/A was in the muffler and it ran strong and flawless no hiccups bogs etc..Starting is a breeze be it button or kicking.
Heck there's nothing not to like about it but keep in mind it was only one very short ride and I'm still mesmerized so. :notworthy:
Oops just thought of one thing. The smallish gas tank :censored: as you'll definitely not want to stop to refuel as much as you'll unfortunately need too.

    Told ya :D

It's a fantastic bike for sure. When I am not riding mine all I can think about is when I will get to ride it again. Everyone who takes mine for a spin comes back frothing at the mouth and shaking their heads. Once more people try them they are going to be very good sellers. The FE390 Berg blew me away, this one is better IMHO. Does everything the Berg would but feels 30 pounds lighter.

Yep you nailed it and I'd just say to those reading and wondering "believe the hype".
Though for hardcore woods guys the limited tank range is going to be a deal killer until a viable option presents itself.

P3 and Hall's will have a plastic 3+ gal tank that will work for FI or carb pretty soon. Lindsay is refining the design of the "plug" to improve fitment and increase capacity. Things have been tweaked since tank 1 (mine) and tank 2 (Glenn Kearney's) The plug will go to Jay Hall for final fitting and approval. They have a company lined up to do the molding. Hopefully it will fall into place very soon.

and hopefully the new tanks will be able to accommodate a steering damper as well.

Yep it's my understanding as well that Lindsay is going ahead with it and will have this done fairly soon as I know there has been a number of starts and stops on this project which has added some confusion and angst to owners and potential owners.
Be patient I believe everyone's wish is going to be answered.

Is it ok if while you're tweaking and fiddling we're riding?

there is actually a lot of truth to that, even trail riding. I have ridden with some larger groups lately, 6-8 guys. Stop to discuss trails and everyone gets ready to go. I usually am down the trail before they fish the lever out. :busted: No dust, slow pokes or people littered on hills in front of me. :p

Actually, REAL men will have their carbed bikes tweaked well in advance. No need to tweak while you're riding. :D

P-3 makes great products and are wonderful to deal with. If they say the tank will fit it will.
