Went on a short ride today. Found a dirt road. This was the day after nearly 48 hours of straight rain.

Wear out those Karoo's and get some 606's or MT 21's on there so you can really get it dirty. [IMG]

Those aren't Karoos. They're worn out MT21s. I have new ones sitting in the garage. :)

Even my worn out MT21s handled 100x better than that KLR's work out stock tires.

And that stuff was like concrete! I had to dig it out of my bike by hand, including removing the front sprocket cover to get at it all. It kind of makes me want to get one of those aftermarket open ones. I'm just worried about snagging a pant leg in there when my pants aren't tucked into my boots.

I want to, for sure. But, I don't wear pants tucked into MX boots every time I ride it. I do have some pants that go outside the boots. I also commute on the bike wearing some Danners and jeans. I'm just concerned that I'll suddenly find myself pantless on a commute. :)

Got bit by my 510 on a quick test ride. Still had the steel case protector but no trash guard. Oops. Good way to season the Levi's [IMG]

~Every-time my FS cover gets packed with mud, the sprocket seal needs to be cleaned to stop the leaking ... That cover is pretty much permanently removed now...

I suppose if all I risk is a hole in my jeans, it'll be worth it. Who makes a good case saver for the 630?
