FYI-As discussed on other threads. Race Tech is also one of the shops that has done extensive testing in regards to the "conversion" method of re-doing 4CS forks. They build their own base valve assembly and recreate the forks into a more standard configuration with REB on top and Comp on bottom.
For 2016 they have upped the game further with all new valve stack specs along with a dual comp adjuster for both HSCD and LSCD in the fork.
I have been very happy with my ZipTy Racing modified forks, but have been in discussion with Mike Crow at Crow performance suspension (he is an authorized private satellite Race Tech shop and was a factory race tech suspension tuner at the race tech's home office for many years.). My forks need service anyway and I may elect to go with a full boat Race Tech fork set up and may even decide to carry these forks (or internals) onto my next bike.... nothing firm but just an FYI note about Mike and his new Escondido Ca. shop. He spends a lot of time at Race Tech HQ and maintains a full professional relationship with the Race Tech R&D dept.

just made some minor clicker changes to my ZipTy Racing forks..REB open/faster...and added a little dampening to my GPR.......wow big difference , now I need to ride it in the rocky stuff and see where she is. also I may re-roll my bars forward, I centered them (back) and may go back to Motoventures (Gary LaPlante) school recommended ergo setting, which is rolled a bit forward to get me more over the steering head

Ive already decided not to go further spending/tweaking except for services on my 2014.......... I may end up on a 3 year cycle this time----2017 300 product is slated to more Beta like in its construction. Ty never has anything to worry about with me...He is still my west coast offroad guru

Lemme know when you're done with it Robert. I'm spoiled getting used, but dialed bikes from my racing friends. The wife took a spin on the Kearney special WR on Sunday and liked it so much she made me trade back for the 449 before she fell in love.
