PS So much of the BC Mex stuff because SoCal is not about closed course XC/GNCC/Enduro type stuff, my NY/east coast roots still show- tight rocky and technical trumps open hi speed stuff for me. LAMC Tecate HS and the BORCS crew are giving us the best in knock down drag out GNCC/XC type stuff. Almost ready to go, 2013 TXC310.
wowo ... Very good results ...Do you have a real job to go to each day? What is your practice schedule look like between races? Or are you just winging it off some patented skill set you have? -- This year, I do have a TC machine and a WR250 for racing some of the MX stuff here ... I'm just about ready to commit to actually trying to practice and race this year ... I'll have a local rider on my WR and hoping he can ride that Husky that he really likes to the expert class maybe ... I'll be in the old guys class ....
Sorry, but I didn't do any winning on a Husky this season. The CR150 purchase was me rewarding myself for having such a good year My club ran a new series that consisted of 3 motocross rounds, and 3 hare scrambles, the last being a 6 hr. It was my first time in the woods. I only had one win but consistent top 3 finishes and good luck, and won that series. It was my second year in the vintage series. The turnout wasn't great, but I won every race except one, and took that series as well. My best year ever on the bikes.
Maybe too much of bike thrasher even for me, not to mention body thrasher (and OA a little cost prohibitive). I will do the last dog standing this year, I'm committing to that one.
Im going to race my 12 WR300 this year in District 6 (East) Vet B class. Cant wait. Hopefully I have some results worth posting haha
Already 1/2 way through HS season down here (series runs from Labor Day to end of May) After 7 events sitting 10th in MasterC(50+) on the WR300. Bike is working great, me doing so so. Hoping to run as many as possible, still 8 rounds to go, should get to 5 or 6 of them. Gonna hit a few NEPG rounds also, LA & the June PA rounds. Maybe a couple GNCCs b4 I get too old..........
