I will be installing a 144 kit in my 09' wr125 this winter. This bike I use almost only for racing.

What brand race fuel should I buy for a 50/50 application?

    Vp C12?

On there website they have U4... plenty of other options also.

    Great topic!

Why do you want to run VP? It is really expensive and I'm not sure why you would want to run it 50/50.

I have ran Sunoco GT100 (the unleaded street legal stuff) and the Unleaded GTX104 (not street legal) and really like both of them. Plus they are pretty cheap by the 55 gallon drum. (around $400 bucks)

I have also used Turbo Blue leaded 100 but did not like it as much b/c it wasn't as clean as the unleaded.

I guess it just depends on whats available in your area. Try Sunoco without mixing 50/50 if you can. I have been extremely happy with it in my 06 Husky 144 and both my 08 CR 125's.

Might depend on what you're mixing it with. Any 100 octane would do at 50/50.

It was recommended to me to mix Sunoco 114L to premium 1 gal to 4.

I'm not sure I can get Sunoco stuff in Canada.

Then again I will be going this winter down south to ride.

Where do you guys buy it? Maybe I can just bring back a drum.

There are distributors that sell the 50 gal. drums. I have an auto parts store down the street that sells 5 gal buckets of VP and another brand. They used to sell Sunoco but don't now for some reason. There are some lists on the internet for race gas availability throughout the US.

There's a Sunoco reseller 15 minutes from where I live according to the website it's a Yamaha dealer. Seems pretty easy to find local.

    option#1:
    Straight Sunoco Gt100, GTX104 or 114L 1 to 4 gal. with premium.

What about VP, which type should I use?

I use 3l vp c-12 108 octane with 12l preimum 91 octane to get 94.5 octane fuel for my 2008 cr 125 seems to run great. On boys 2008 pollini 50 X3 I run 50/50 mix, little bike has higher comp ratio need 98 octane min.
