Had another fun ride at the North Atlantic XC series, this time at Stone Hollow just east of Pittsburgh PA. Once again Dave and his crew did a great job laying out the trail and making sure the guys all had a great time. The Final event for the series is Oct. 17th, the Johhny B Classic.....last chance to drag that old vintage bike out of the shed and dredge up some old memories!
    Hope to see you there.

The idle seems low and better. Nice view from Virginia !

Yes, I went to a 35 pilot (from a 40) and reset the idle and she seemed to respond well. It sure seems to take forever to get the idle to settle down so I can get it in gear! it's really in my head as the competition is speeding away....I continued to have a water pump leak though, and will have to take a closer look at the housing.... maybe it's warped? the new gasket pushed out closest to the boot side of the pump housing. I inspected it very closely and didn't see any nicks or damage area, i'm somewhat puzzled.

Turns out that the housing was warped and allowing the new gasket to push out slightly when it tightened down, then would hiss coolant under pressure. The housing was decked on flat surface with sandpaper and seems to hold the gasket now when tightened. I'll try to get it out and test ride it to be sure it's fixed.

I use 3M weatherstrip adhesive to glue the flat rubber gasket to the aluminum engine cover, keeps it from slipping out. Try not to tighten too much that's how they get warped.

    Good luck.

Nice video. That bike sounds tight. Sounds great.
