What is the difference in the radiators from previous years? I installed my old CRD braces that have been on a '06 TE 250 and a '07 WR 250. Besides not having the option to run a fan they fit perfect.

Did you need to space them out? The 09-10 125 and 2010 250F have the radiators from a new manufacturer and are about a 1/4 inch wider.

No I did not space them. I will snap a shot of them next time I have the tank off.

I believe you our older versions must have just been tighter to begin with I guess. Someone here posted a long while back when the 09 125 first came out about needing to space them. The rads are for sure wider.

I would love to have a set of the rad guards but the ones on my KTM made it easy to boil the coolant out. Has anyone experienced this on Huskys?

All my KTM's seemed to boil at any temp above freezing! Idle them in the garage for more than 3 minutes and they puke like a drunk drinking rubbing alcohol. My Husky's, on the other hand, would NEVER boil. I thought the fan circuit on my '08 TE 250 was defective because it NEVER came on, ever. I tested it by putting a heat gun on the sensor after 20 minutes of idling in the garage and it finally came on. My '09 TXC 250 never boiled even in 90+ temps... even WITH Motosportz rad guards installed. Husky's are NOT hot-natured like KTM's. Buy the guards, install them, and enjoy your freedom from KTM HELL!

I have a set of Kelly's radiator guards on my 08 TE250 and ride a lot of first and second gear trails with absolutely no over-heating. Recently raced the Perry Mountain HS and the bike was all over the place due to some DOT tires and lack of skills.:busted: Took a nasty slide that shattered my right radiator shroud in half and ripped my lower conveyor off, and ended up with a minor scuff and dent in that guard.

I ride in a lot of rocks. And heat.

Motosportz rad guards have saved my bacon more than once on the TC250. No o/h either. Shrouds and stuff go back on w/o sticking out all over the place too.
Ya wad hard enough to damage these and there's gonna be something else leaking, most likely.

Getting a set for my WR125 too.

Keep the goods comin', Kel.(bash plate please cough cough bash plate cough ;))

    Yeh. I did.

In FRANCE. $177.00 to get it here...

Think'n I'll make my own (i.e.- chop it and have a bud reweld it) out of one of Moose's '08 models, if you've got no plans for one.

Can't wait to get mine for the 'buzz-bomb'. I like Kel's rad gaurds. They fit, protect and keep the twigs outta my coolers better than any I've ever tried. Some trails I ride are belly on the tank affairs and the harpoon action is fairly hot and heavy.

    Comon tax return!
