    I am getting another WR125 - a 2013 yay
Only problem - its got a lowered a seat and modified suspension and stand ( 50mm suspension drop )
The guy wasn't that short but was getting on a bit and a novice

    I m about 6 ft . Ok 5' 11'' and 3/4
Seat was also cut down . Thinking I may try just going with a guts tall seat and pushing forks down fully to see how it feels.
So for seat I am tossing up between just adding extra foam and shaping it to original cut foam ( done it before and was ok ) or getting a high seat foam from Guts Racing - and possibly a seat cover and with shipping at a much higher cost .
Not sure if I will need a new seat cover .

The seat concepts seat look good but expensive - not sure how much
and not sure about the style and material for a 125

    Any opinions ?

I think the front springs were cut and re tempered and the rear shock has a spacer internally
Thinking it could make a good technical riding bike - maybe if it was only lowered 1 inch it would be acceptable
Will leave suspension for a ride or two I think ?

    Any opinions on this ?

I know I should probably just take it to local suspension guys and get it sorted out with heavier springs to suit me - at 175lb + 20 lb gear
Don't mind the idea of a lower bike though and a softer seat

This is the bike lowered 50mm - stand was cut down too . Not my garage by the way - I wish

Bike is in mint condition. I love older guys that look after their bikes.

Doesn't feel too bad when I sit on it with standard seat .

Flat footing with slight bend in the Knees - I know how David Knight would feel

Will have to ride it ..

Anyone after lowered front springs, kick stand, and spacer?

5kg rear spring has to go though .
Anyone running heavier rear spring ? I know Dwight was running a 6kg and is approx. the same weight ( 82 kg / 180 ) but that seems way high -
Spoke to suspension guy at ATR and he said 5.2kg spring should suit for light bike

If you leave it lowered, get a good bashplate. My womans 250 is lowered 50mm back and 45mm front and she's beaten the stock bashplate pretty good.

That little beast would be like riding a BMX!

I'm the same weight as you and i'm running a 5.8kg rear spring and it works for me.

My 250 was lowered about the same amount when I got it. It was great to be able to get a foot down when needed in the technical stuff but the frame and pegs would hang up in ruts so back up
it went. In my case the oc forks had just had the preload spacers removed and replaced with limiting spacers in the cartridge so raising it was easy.

    Thanks guys

What springs are people running up front ?. Vinduro advice was to go lighter but tuners say go heavier

The bike has a Rekluse so will be real easy to ride in shitty stuff

Im 75kg and I'm running a 5.4 in the rear and .46 in the front. As for your seat I got a genuine husky step seat which turned out to be just a bit more than buying a seat foam and cover without the headaches

what front race sag were you aiming for?

Dwights suggestion of 70mm seems high to me
    I think mine is 30mm

how do you like front now ? turns ok ?

do you get much more deflection with heavier rear spring ?

My sag on rear is just over 100mm with 5kg spring , 30 static sag

I am 81kg and thinking front .44 max and 5.2 rear

For me it was an improvement as it stopped the front tucking in corners. I run a steering dampener so deflection isn't an issue. I've got 35 static and 100mm on the rear , as for the front I have no idea as I have swaped out to a set of twin chamber kyb. Mine is set up on harder side which is what I prefer. You should be right with the .44 and 5.2
