As I posted earlier, I'm racing my 630 in a rally series in the UK. I currently have a nav tower and simple front fairing to protect the nav equipment. I note that Bianchi Prata make a full rally fairing for the 445/511. Not having a 449 or 511 to hand, I'm wondering how different the 630 is, and whether it could be made to fit. The other alternative is to make one myself. It's not a trivial process, but is something I'm willing to tackle over the winter when I'm not racing the bike. The questions are, I suppose, Can the 449 failing be made to fit, and if not, would anyone else be willing to invest in a custom rally fairing if I decide to go down that route?
I'd be interested to see what you come up with either way, whether it be an adaptation of the 449/511 or a custom piece. Rough idea of prices?
http://www.bianchiprata.com/en/kit-rally-dakar/ That is a nice kit for the 449. Wonder if they could be convinced to adapt it to the 630 for you? Appears they sell individual components of the kit also http://www.bianchiprata.com/pt/categoria-produto/pecas-rally-kit/ The 449 kit photo http://www.bianchiprata.com/pt/loja/husqvarna-te-449-rally-ano-2012-sem-assistencia/
I know a couple of guys with the kit on the 449. The fairing is one piece and is narrower than it'd need to be for the 630. It is one option but I'm more inclined to just DIY. As to associated costs, I have no idea.
