One time I tried it, it didn't....on the chest or helmet is better.

Are you trying to find a place for the radar mast? Maybe on your helmet?

That there would be an FJR1300 in the Iron Butt Rally. Not a Top 10 rider mind you...but an IBR finisher nonetheless. I've seen worse...including one that had two mirrors setup like a periscope to see their speedometer...and another that had a genuine weather mast on back with the little spinning anemometer.

Of course, normally my phone would be in the X-Grip....

There is still room for a vanity mirror in the crossbar...

Oh dear. I have a start button and a kill switch...... I do have a works van with all this type of crap hanging off the dash.......

I only use it for still pics.

Sort of like when hiking and I have a camera, iPhone, GPS, and binocs. If you hang them they're handy but if you pack them somewhere they don't get used much.
