This weekend is Rd 8 of the Nationals in Panaca. Which is 150 miles North / East of Las Vegas on the Nevada/ Utha border . Bike is ready and it still is the only Husky in the country with a AMA National # 1 plate on it. With 3 races to go we will just have to keep trying to keep it for next year.
gr8effx (Steve Williams Badgers M.C.) wrapped up the 50A National hare and hound championship on Saturday with 2 rounds to go. Congrats Steve. Congrats to John as well for putting up the good fight.
aha insider get in yer opponents head ribbing, nice!!! Congrats Steve Williams Nat 50A #1.... bummer that he rides a Honda (hahaha) of course I had to see if I ever raced him in the past , could not find us in any common races.
Congrats to Steve He really had a good year and took the rest of us to school. Now all that is left is for Larry George KTM and myself to fight it out for second. Funny how things change from year to year. Last year I was getting 1st,2nd,and 3rd This year I keep getting 4th. Anyway we still have 2 to go, 1 in Reno end of Sept then 1 in Luceren end of Oct. As for Panaca It was a great race there were 15 guys in the 50a class I finished 6th in class and 85 overall out of about 250 I thought I might have missed a check between the start and alt gas at 20 miles. Because I had not seen any. It was playing mine games with my head thinking I might have missed it. Kept thinking where was it. Hard to race when your head is not completely clear But found out after the race I did not miss any and I watched my video to see if I did and saw all was ok. will get the video edit and posted tonight
Steve Williams is a beast!! #1 district 37 desert plate at over 40(48 year old). 3 time over 50 Open District 37 #1 plate. Then he decides to run the WORCS series and wins #1 plates 2 years in a row. Multiple Baja and BITD champ. He makes me sick he wins everything he tries.
That was strange only 2 checks and the finish. I was wondering the same thing. there were 26 guys in my class. I finished 21st and recived zero national points.
