Honestly, I did a search. What I came up with was 60 ft-lb., 75 ft-lb., 104 ft-lb (!!!). My manual has no torque specs from what I can tell (I looked!). Anyway, is there a general consensus on what is an appropriate torque spec for the rear axle? '09 TXC250

    Thanks, JP

Pulled this off of the 2008 TXC Service Manual:

    Rear wheel axle fastening nut M20x1,5 142,1 Nm 14,5 Kgm 104.8 ft/lb

    Hope this helps.

you can use 104, but that is quite excessive...75 ft/lbs is plenty.
