I really am cursed with this bike! As much as I love her she is proving to be a right pita! After months of rebuilding I took her out for a ride today to get some miles on the clock in an effort to run in the overhauled engine only to find about 3 miles in that the rear brake is starting to sieze in the closed position
I managed to get home by which time the pads and disk were fused together in nuclear meltdown. I guess I should have checked the brake system after months of standing and assume the pistons have seized due to lack of use.
A little surprised but hey that's life. I plan to strip down, check disc for distortion, replace pads and clean calliper/pistons and replace fluid.
Is there anything else I need to check/replace? Also I can't find any disks on flea bay so I wondered best place to buy one.
    Cheers
