I'm wondering what kind of options there are for rear racks for the
    610. While unloading my bike from truck the other day I went to drag the
back wheel towards me as I've done a million times grabbing the rack
and the part that I grab onto broke off. So I ended up glueing it back
on with some strong glue for the time being.
I checked Motosportz website but nothing for the 610. Anyone know
of an aftermarket rack available for the 610's ?
Here's a pic of it after I glued the broken piece back.

I run a ProMotoBillet rack on mine, and I have the optional pannier protectors, too...

    Here's an interesting one...

I know Kelly at Motosportz sells one, and it might fit the 610, but it doesn't say it does on the website, so...:excuseme:

I had to beef up the fender support thingy underneath so that it wouldn't break, as I'd broken the side piece right behind the turnsignals twice. No problems since

Thanks for your input. JCKid has a pretty cool setup on that SM. Definitely worth looking

I have the TCI rack and am very pleased. No drilling in the bodywork required as with the PMB (I think).

Thanks wally. Just checked out their website and they've got some nice stuff. Looks
like they've got a nice tailbag that straps on to the rack. I'm wondering if my Moose
Tailbag would bolt as easily as it does on the OEM Rack?

Sorry to hi-jack, but would love to find out what it would take to get my tail to look like this? Can't stand that three tier license plate holder, really ruins the looks on the ass end of the bike.

Love the build quality of the Pro Moto rack, but trying to find something a tad slimmer. I just need to be able to bungee down some layers of clothing and the occasional lunch I take with me on the trail. Not sure who TCI is, many of you guys use the business acronym's and some of us are still pretty noob with Husky aftermarket companies.

wish I could tell ya, but that is the PO's handy work. No idea what light it is, but it's pretty bright, not just there to be legal

TCI is Turbo City, Inc. Tom is the owner, and a great guy to deal with. Their website is turbocity.com.

Thanks for that, never heard of this company before. Will check them out as I need a rear rack pretty bad as the weather is turning quite nice lately and the road\trails are calling.

Well I ordered my new rack today from TCI's website. Went with the
Borrego rack thanks to the pics of jckid's SM610, link provided by
Woodschick. Thank you both and thanks to Coffee for the great site.
God I love the internet. I'm hoping my Moose tailbag will mount on it
easily. I like the fact that it bolts on using existing side panel threads.
Can't wait to get it. Jerry

Hey Fasttrak, where in Norcal are you? I do a lot of trail riding up in

I think you'll like the rack. I was orginally looking at the PMB rack, since I had a similar one (XR's Only) on another bike. But I ended up going with the TCI Borrego rack, and am happy that I did. It has worked much better than the XR's rack. The extra width works well. I have an expanding tailbag, and it works great on the rack. I guess the only drawback is if you need to remove the side panels, you have to unbolt the rack. But it's really no big deal, because you can just take out the two bolts, loosen the two rear ones, and pivot the rack up and back.

I have a PMB rack. I pretty much hate it. An elevated platform (aka the *!@#ing knee knocker) is unnecessary for anything but a big load - and this bike isn't designed for a big load. I have a plan in my head for a simpler and less obtrusive way to strap the day to day riding stuff and might have a friend make something up. I'll let y'all know.
