Looking to refresh the stock fork oil and mess w/the level to provide a bit more bottoming resistance. What type & weight have you all been using and at what level? I'm 200 lbs w/gear, intermediate level rider/racer, mostly woods riding/single track, some mx, and am statisfied w/the stock springs and valving so far, but need more resistance to bottoming for those occasional large takeoffs and subsequent landings. I've got a bunch of leftover ProHonda SS-7 5w for my '01 Honda CR500 w/46mm open cartridge KYBs. Will this oil be ok to use in my wr fork?

I run 5WT at 120mm in mine, feels really good to me and I weigh about the same (same forks on 11/310). Not sure about that oil you will be using though, I use motorex.
If it is bottoming at that height, you can always add more oil easily (through the bleeders)
