All 2st reed block bits

ya know them pesky lil "tamper proof" bolts they use on our new smokers reed block? i kept forgetting to get a tool for those then...in the impulse bin at an o'riely auto parts i spied a little red dealio...made by michigan industrial,or so labled. cool little two piece rubber block with security bits and an extention, both allen and torx. block is soft rubber and it closes up tight. it was a wopping $2.99. less bits than picutred but, you get the ideer...

inspect yer reeds often kids.

I got the same kit at Harbor Freight, although I hate sending money to China.
Have you seen any wear on the reeds?

nope- good to go so far. they are a consumeable so i watch them. i'll replace them every other top end. like a battery they might be ok for the time being but fail w/o notice. might never fail as well but.....things hour out. reeds are one of them.
