What kind of tool do I need to remove/replace the reed block screws, and where can I get it?

A good hardware/tool store will have one.

Its a security bit, typically I see them in a torx head which would work just as well as an allen.

I believe that fastener is called tamper proof. Try searching for tamper proof Allen?

Its is interesting that this screw is fitted to the 13 WR125 but not its CR sibling.

I'm scratching my head as to why they have a TP type screw on the reed block ? Now I'm gonna have to look at mine to see if it has that application too.

    Thanks for your replies.

I ordered the Bondhus Tamper Resistant L-Wrench metric hex set, PN 48386, Model #HTR6M, from Fry's Electronics website. It's a 6 piece set containing 2.5mm thru 8mm hex keys. Was forced to order from an on-line source. I hope this info helps any of you facing the same situation.

Fry's cost is $15.49 (US) + tax. Ground shipping cost me $11.89

I think cuz these are sold street legal somewhere as they used to (and might still) some with crazy lean jetting for regulations. Just my wild ass guess.

Seems rather self defeating for them to install tamper proof hardware that people can buy the tools to remove.:excuseme:

Kelly they are sold here in Australia and in Europe with lean jetting but the changes are only in the carb. Even the parts book shows that they is no change to the reed block between WR and CR. It kind of doesn't make sense.

Ha, I opened this up thinking "8 mm combination wrench", then I saw the picture and was as scratching my head like everyone else, I'll have to see if my brother's 2012 has those as well. I haven't ever looked. That sure makes things inconvenient.

The really odd thing is that looks like a stainless bolt as well. With as cheap as most hardware is on the bike, it's a bit strange that they would use a bolt that would probably cost over a dollar a piece at bulk prices (x 4) vs a bolt that is probably closer to 10-20 cents in bulk and already used on the bike in many places.

Lowes is about worthless when it comes to specialty tools and nuts/bolts Ive needed for bikes.

Lowes and Home Depot were No Joy for me. Ended up ordering from Fry's.com.
