Does anyone know if Rekluse makes a clutch to fit the '09 TE/TXC250/310 models?
I'd like to order one but no website I've checked has one listed for that bike. I'm guessing one of the other models may fit.
I emailed Rekluse but they haven't responded.

    Thanks for any info.

You can get the original z-start for that bike, but not the newest PRO version.

You can also get an EFM auto clutch.

Will the Pro version fit with a larger clutch cover?

I cant see a need for a auto in these bikes. I ride in real gnarly conditions and you just dont need one. I always thought I wanted one until I got this bike.

I haven't got a lot of time on mine yet but I've noticed when you lug it down really low riding in real tight goat trails it'll just stall out pretty easy. I'm used to riding my 250 2-stroke that will lug down till it's barely running and refuse to stall and pull out of almost a dead stop. The TXC will just pop and die.
I'm thinking the autoclutch will solve that problem or I need to adjust my riding style and learn to keep the revs up.

Mine has never done that. In fact I have been bragging to my riding buddies that my bike never stalls on me. Try idleing you bike up a little bit. I think this will solve your problem.

Mine never dies either, in fact I was riding in some wet slippery red clay this past weekend and was amazed at the TXC's ability to just about go to zero forward velocity in second gear without dying. A little twist of the throttle while almost stopped, and she pulled like a champ! Didn't even bother to go into 1st. I love this bike!

I've got my idle set at a fairly high setting as well. I think you may be on to something here.

Thanks for the replies; I've got 1 more Enduro on my KTM this weekend (Gobbler Getter) and then I'm switching over to the TXC250 full time. It only has ~ 1 hr on it so it's not even broken in. I'll adjust the idle and see if that helps.

i find the rekluse very cool on technical stuff. use more concentration on line selection and less on clutch manipulation. Yes, i can run a clutch, have been for 35 years but the autoclutch does have it's place and if you exploit what it has to offer you can in fact go faster EZer. Love it in the WR250.

Well, I called them yesterday and they said they didn't make one for the '08-'09 te/txc250. Is it safe to assume the rms-155 for the '06-'07 te/tc250 will fit and they don't know it?

It's strange they make the Pro for the '06-'09 450; I thought the bottom end was about the same.

I would say that it definitely will not fit. They design, manufacture, and support their products. If they say they don't have one, then sadly, they don't. I'm in the same boat with a kickstand from pro moto bilett.

I talked to them about my 310 and they said with the new motors comming out in 2010 that they will skip over 09's. And that there is nothing in the works for these models. Also was told that a spacer is needed on the cover to make it work because of the oil sight glass.

OK......have to chime in. TE310 will remain as old motor for 2010 and it is the ultimate playbike and racer so rekluse lose out again. Stll nothing for the ever poular 125 (which wil work on all those back to 2001) and look how long it took to get the 250 done (which wil work on all those back to god knows!) I assumed the same in early 09 fromthem and sent my 310 (09)to EFM. Done works great as did my 2 125's. The sight glass is not in the inspection cover so what a spacer is needed on the cover mhas to do with the sight glass is a mystery. It does need a cover though if you use the older rekluse (not pro) but clay at 7602 can provide one that is deeper. The EFM includes a spacer and since the sight glass retention bracket cannot fit in between the spacer and the stock cover, you must add 3/8" to the bracket. A cut and add with 2 welds that I did myself and have had no drips at all..........and i weld like the proverbial bird dropping!

I and others gave rekluse all the time in the world and although they make a nice product, they appear to be about satisfying the major sales.....hey it IS business after all. Nothing against them at all...that is not the point I am making......EFM makes it and it works great and is cheaper too. Enuff said.

I think most of you guys know that Norman, Joe, and I all have EFM clutches and like them. I now have two and their workmanship and operation is flawless. It is nice to have another option when Rekluse doesn't offer anything.
