I have a Rekluse EXP 2 on a 125 . Fitted by previous owners mechanic. Fairly new.
I quite like it but having a few issues .

My first issue is I have trouble getting a feel for clutch release eg when trying to pop the front wheel up to a big log - not getting much lift - hard to time right. Clutch lever is stiffer without any play.

Secondly it still stalls and it seems hard to get idle right . It will sit too high and annoy me yet still stall - slightly lower idle seems to work better

Last one is it seems harder to start
Bike likes to start in first gear no clutch -
which makes me think issue is clutch related

Anyone had similar issues? - is there any adjustment I can do .

Youtube! Try the heavey wedge kit and use a rubber band wrapped around the hand grip to the clutch lever. Start bike and warm up. Rev motor and watch the free play in lever. Adjust it untill you have about an 1/8 inch or so. Free play adjustment is everything on a Rekluse.

Thanks - yeh it was too much free play gain - lever moving 3/4 inch when you rev it
Too easy - I must have loosened cable not knowing the effect it has ..
    actually works now

Not sure I like the clutch feel though

I suppose I can fit the hydraulic set up on it to make it an easier pull

Unless you can make it hold tension on the clutch arm like you are doing with the stock cable, I don't see this working well. *

*I thought I had read somewhere that somebody had machined a spacer that went between the pressure plate and push rod to put tension on it like having the cable tight does so they could use a hydro set up. Maybe an adjustable push rod or throw out bearing (think the 610's had these)?

Rekluse does include 1 shim to go between the pressure plate and the push rod for your wr125. If you're using a magura aftermarket clutch you technically could use a rekluse. What you would have to do is use shims like the one rekluse gives or use spacers like the ones magura gives to adjust rod free play on the slave. You won't get much of a difference in resistance to pull though even with the magura. You really need the core exp setup or wait for a used one to pop up if it's too expensive.

Anyone had any luck with different lever/perches which claim to ease clutch pull like Moose EZ3? And how about the Moose Easy-Pull?

    I haven't tried one
I like the feel of a non Rekluse clutch better to be honest
I rode again and got stuck in a Hot dusty ditch . Rekluse seemed to make rear tyre spin more in loose dust than normal
And seems to bike feel less responsive at bottom - like a moped feel
Was getting no traction and getting stuck.
    Any others find this?
Is really good on rocky surfaces
Thinking about pulling off the Rekluse

I think I would like the stock clutch on a small bore bike better, unless I was riding very tight, technical trails.
On the wr300 traction and getting stuck isn't a problem for me so far.
Adjusting the free play at the lever is crucial with the Rekluse and my EXP 2 works well now that it's adjusted properly.

ive just fitted a sunline unbreakable lever that was on my shelf and it feels much better :)
the bend on the lever is greater and it makes it easier to pull and hold bars - will have to try it out on the hills . Feel just right for my stubby fingers

Nice, those levers look good. I ordered the EZ3 clutch lever and will see soon if it helps.
Also switched to Rotella T 15-40wt as recommended here and elsewhere.

Apparently, the core rekluse on my 010 TC250 needs adjusting ... It has been working aok from ~the 40hr mark to the ~300 hr mark on my bike. During all this time, if I put the bike in gear and it would very very slightly trhy to more forward ... Perfect I though about it till recently.

Now, the clutch is dragging so badly that the clutch lever barely releases the clutch fully AND the bike is very difficult to hold in place with the clutch engaged and in 1st gear...

Same oil, as always... This seems like an adjustment issue to me.

    --
I was looking for videos about this found several pointing at the rubber-band trick on the bars to check for free play ... If I try that on my bike, its gonna go down the road most likely ...

The pic below mentions a M4 screw... Does this sound like the correct starting point for my issue?

Maybe it's the last issue listed?

I'm thinking this PDF page is referring to the pressure plate adjustment that my bike needs ...I hope this is it ..Looks easy enough ...

Just finishing off this thread ...

First, my Rekluse had no issue. It was the rider \ mechanic again having issues ..

And yes, if you have to ADJ your autoclutch, it's pretty simple. I adjusted mine and during this, I discovered my issue... This time did get me to read a little on this device and the company has documented it pretty good ...

Very simple to ADJ this device ... Dialing that adjuster in, reduces tension on the plates when engaged ... Seemed backwards but that is the way it worked for me. Loosen the nut and clutch plates engage with more tension and less slippage.

Just a couple of real-life Rekluse CoreEXP device pics with settings.

2 is my initial setting ...
    100_2679.JPG

Made 2 (4 clicks) adjustments before I realized my real issue. Moving 2 clicks should give you a change you can feel.
