That was before my time - but I want one! They're fairly cheap too, it usually takes me an hour or so to change one tire.
way better price than the original Kaurit-Moto version, those are ~$180 shipped. ~$138 for just the tool. thanks for the heads up!
WOW thats like an exact copy. No address under contact. Wonder if they are licencing it or just stealing it and did not bother to even change the look slightly? BTW I love mine and use it all the time. Makes tires changes EZ. I have a new routine where I put the tube int he tire before mounting and it makes it all SO EZ. Also got the motionpro bead holder tool which makes it even EZer.
yeah, complete copy. i've been digging around to see if they mention Kaurit at all but haven't seen anything yet.
You're doing it wrong. 5-10 minutes tops, and thats with the trail spoons, and working on the ground.
Any word on this? I'm thinking of switching to mousses, but don't want to sacrifice my easy tire changes, this would make the switch much easier. -- Took 2 minutes to search the interwebs and saw that Kaurit has a full system which includes their version of this. Watching the videos it looks like you could use this fine on there, but it would still be a beast. That full system (TMT-3 I think) has a video of removing and installing a mousse in under 5 minutes...daaaaaamn.
I think all of the demo video I've ever seen has them using well used mousse and stretched tire beads! I've been using them for a while and it does require patience and technique! Four of the Motion Pro long curved tire irons & three of the new (blue) bead buddies! I just got my BajaNoPinch and it looks like a deal maker! We'll see soon...
I love mine. Makes installing bikes with 2 rim locks so much EZer (I like to run two rim locks on my trials tires). I have a technique down and like changing tires. EZ.
This tool is well worth the money... It may take a time or two to get used to it if you have your own "spoon" technique down... I got half way thru my first tire and threw it on the shelf... Came back to it a couple months later watching the video as I went, and all of a sudden it all clicked... Used it today as a matter of fact... On a Maxxis Desert IT... Went on with minimal effort.
I use my Kaurit regularly, have two different spindles and a sleeve to fit all of my bikes. Makes installing a breeze, comparatively.
