A fastener for the plastic over the muffler has decided it doesn't want to be removed. It turns but doesn't move...in or out. Can't get a grip on it with pliers as it is sucked right up the to plastic.

Is it a fastener that screws in to the subframe? If it is you probably have a insert that is turning along with the screw? Try applying pressure with 1 or 2 screwdrivers behind the plastic or even behind the washer/spacer itself while trying to unscrew the bolt.

This is a real pain if the problem is what I think it is. Good Luck!!

Or if thats the case try an air impact wrench to snap it out.

Went to George's. he's got a tool that removes the inserts...hydraulic ($500). Correct... the impact worked to remove the fastener. Glad I took the trip down to Uptite,....like hitting the EASY button.;)
