removing tank on 08 TE450

I recently bought an 08 TE450 with a Motosportz damper. Do I have to remove the triple clamps and post mount in order to pull the tank or am I missing something?

Well, apparently no one had an answer for me so I messed with enough to figure it out.

FYI, Un bolt the tank. Loosen the colar on the post mount then turn the tension all the way stiff on the damper. Turn the bars all the way in one direction and then push the mount a little further to clear the tank. This will allow enough clearence to remove the tank.
