I get this question a lot so this weekend when i took my tank off to check the valves I snapped some shots. It's EZ and no need to take off the triple etc... 2 bolts and pop the damper out (leave the pin attached)... Take the tank bolt off... Loosen the frame clamp pinch bolt. On my bike i can do it without removing the plate, you might have to remove it... Swing the damper clamp to the side... Remove the tank / side plate bolts and pull the tank off... Reverse to install. EZ
