Does anyone know where I can get a replacement key blank for the gas tank on my 2007 TE610? I took it to a local locksmith this summer and he couldn't ID it and the local Husky place said the only way they have to get a new key is replace the entire gas tank cap (as it comes with 2 keys). I just have 1 key now and it always makes me nervous that I'll loose it.
I tried to get a key blank from the dealer (I think it was Motoxotica, can't remember) and they are not available. You can get ignition key blanks no problem (I got a couple extras), but not the gas cap. I solved the problem by going to one of the billet cap assemblies.
