Would like to know what years are compatible for a 2000 WR 250 (i don't run lights)
The one i removed has RS 2214 /6L 24 printed on it. Can anyone tell me what the numbers refer to?
    Thanks

I've read a coouple of posts stating no need for a VR if you're not running lights...Is this correct? Don't want to fry anything tomorrow!

All regs from a 125 to 360 from 92 onwards fit...l recommend the msr voltage regulator myself.

PS. I'm from Australia so the majority of husky's sold have the full lighting kit as standard.

    Thanks OMG
I did run lights when I first got the bike but after hitting a few trees I decided to replace the light with a number plate instead of buying bulbs every other ride/race.
I'm still in the dark about having to use a VR if I'm not running lights, though. Is that all a VR is used for (lighting system)?

Ýou don't need a VR if you are running pure motocross style....do you still have the rear lights hooked up? If not, no need for a VR.

I don't know how the stock wiring is for the kill switch from the OE switch block but a standard kill switch is usually wired to the coil and grounded?
