I was just wondering how hard it is to replace a Fork Seal. Do you have to drain the Fork, do you need a special tool, etc? My right Fork Seal is leaking a bit. Thanks
there's two short videos on how to do it, it's pretty easy, but the proper tools will cost you. i bought them cause now i know how i'll do my own if/when they need it again. p.s, i use seal savers now too and recommend them, i take them off and wash them with my gear after a ride. paul. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y43k1qFVGW4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9ICr-DOmdk&feature=related
We really need more focused, less commercial, Husqvarna specific videos for things like this. With a collection of easy 'how to' videos life would be much easier for people.
If you have rode in the mud lately, try cleaning them first. Usually solves the problem and saves a bunch of money.
Mine leak a bit , but not from where it meets the lower tube, but at the top where the seal is fitted into top tube ! ... Seemingly a pretty crude finish inside 45mm marzocchi's !
