Changing the leaking fork seals. I've watched the YouTube video and have the manual. I followed the instructions but did not remove the lower nut on the fork tube as I see no need to remove the cartridge. Trying to separate the inner and outer fork tubes. Manual says to pull vigorously to separate them. Well they will not pull apart by hand, had to use a block of wood/hammer to get the inner fork tube out. Bushings look ok but what would make them so hard to separate??
The right fork came apart easily but the left required the block of wood and a hammer. Reassembled the left fork and it's still extremely stiff, took two big guys to compress it, but the right is ok.
