• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Results from D38 Pay It Forward Grand Prix @ Pala Raceway, CA

Pro Class
Ok, I feel much better now that I see the results.

I signed up for D38 at the beginning of the season but, for one crazy reason or another (like being in Little Creek, VA, a weight reducing virus and losing a kick-start lever), I hadn't been able to make it to an event. There was NO WAY I as going to miss the PIF at Pala!!!

Me and my 2012 TC250 finished OA79th and 4th in class. Ya, ya, there were only six guys in my class but I'll certainly take a 4th - better than a 6th.

The bike is a wreck, by the way - going OTB will do that.

PS I see that Ron W came in second OA event in total time as a Sen ex.
Nice, he was a hired gun for this event on someone's Dungey 450SX Kato.
He killed the Sen X Moto class as well as setting fast lap times above all but the quad race guy.
You met Ron at the BORCs event just hanging out.

I took off my plastics w/the MX backgrounds and went with the cheap-o just for D38. I'll have some for D38 made up too. I still have the MX stuff.

As for the pics, we had a friend taking them and he did NOT do such a great job - lots of shots of the sky and dirt.

I do have these though:
