    I took my bike to the track and cannot get the suspension to work with me. I specifically went to monster mountain in Alabama this past weekend and could not, for God's sake, get the suspension to play nice.

    Track is hard packed with some big jumps. Ruts at some turns.

    Can anyone suggest a good starting point for the clickers?

    Also, are the top fork clickers for compression or rebound?

    Depending on your weight i would start with correct fork spring rate for you. I weigh about 206lbs. I installed .48 fork springs and added some oil. This work can be easily done you just need the fork cap tool and i downloaded the fork manual from the web. When i did my springs i dumped out all the oil from the forks and measured, i put back exactly 150ccs and it no longer bottoms out so easy. I was having issues mostly with bottoming. With the correct spring weight and a tad bit more oil, my forks now feel nice and plush all the way down and no longer bottom. Im thinking i added about 15ccs of oil to what came stock in my bike. i would start with 10cc at first and then try that. I have my clickers set to compression +14 and my rebound set to +12 clicks. So far I don't see no reason to pay anyone tons of money to get the forks feeling any better.

    We need a lot more info. What was it doing you did not like? Did you not get a sticker or sheet with base settings? Have you called ZipTy? The forks might have been reconfigured so you need to know for the clickers. Usually you can push up and down and turn the rebound and feel it so you know which one that is.

    Also remember even thought it might be revealed you still need to set it up right. You have to set the sag right, this is super important. You cant even play with the clickers until this is done. You also need to know where the forks should be in the triples. These bikes are highly sensitive to setup and there are some very important steps to setting them up to work.

    Its all good.

    Sag is set to 3.5inches and the forks are at the second line from top to bottom.

    No sticker with what was done to it was provided. All I told them was that I weighed 166lbs and wanted the suspension to be soft absorbing light ruts and bumps while being able to take on bigger jumps. I also told them I wasn't a super fast rider so the suspension doesn't need to soak reeeaaally big jumps.

    Also, upon receiving my suspension one of the fork clickers was broken.

    I'm starting to think I should've gone with factory connection as I was planning to do so in the first place...already had the ups box with them and everything.

    if its the deconfigure mod comp as at bottom and reb is at top. these chassis seem to like less fork projection than we all think. you really can not expect to just jump onto a magic bike take some time and play, for sure get your rear sag at or near the magic/industry std 100mm of race sag or at most 105, and remeber the rear reb and comp also pushes and pulls and effects the front. balance set up takes time. pro teams take weeks months and even entire seasons to get dialed in.

    OK, spoke to Rob at zipty and he did advise me that the rebound was at the top and comp at the bottom....hah. I was making adjustments thinking they were the other way around. That explains why I couldn't get it to play nice. :)

    I will take the bike to the track this weekend and report back.

    I don't know how yours is valved, but mine ended up close to full closed on COMP I would swap between 4 and 2 out from full in/closed. huge difference between those settings......as for REB I kept opening clicks at a time until it would float across road ribs (those little mini whoops that form on dirt road- washboard at about 35-40 mph at that setting it seems good everywhere for me. But we all ride differently in all ways.
    Funny and when I told the Race Tech guru that he said yea we have found that as well (they do the same mod as ZipTy) working close to the full "hard" In setting in the Comp setting works best with these.
