Well actually is is already here. Just came in for my 125. Like a autoclutch but better in many ways. Can be adjusted at the lever to do full auto, anti stall and regular clutch. Can bump start your bike if needed. Regardless it retains the stock pressure plate and clutch feel at any RPM. VERY simple install. Will be testing this weekend and adding to our web site. We will be working with Revloc to come up with the rest of the husky applications shortly. Cool stuff.
Cool stuff Kelly! I wish there had been this option earlier. I think that Rekluse is working on something similar using Kevin's bike as a model. The take home is that there is enough interest in the Husky line for these after market manufacturers to design stuff for us. Revloc and Rekluse are different and definitely competing company's. I really like the way my EFM auto clutch works so flawlessly but the ability to adjust the clutch cable and be able to bump start and retain standard clutch action is intriguing. Walt
Revloc started the whole thing, or at least popularized it. Rekluse came out with a better and cheaper mouse trap and ran away with the market. Both have been great companies to work with. The reason I approached Revloc on this product was lower cost and EZer to adapt to various clutches along with Rekluses unwillingness to get husky models out because of small numbers. The up side to this product is it is simply a clutch plate replacemnet meaning it will be EZ to configure for other clutch models. Will be working on one for the new 2010 250F motor here shortly.
same as early honda CR 125 clutch? Later Honda CR 125 as well as CRF 250 use same plates but 8/7 fiber/metal vs early Honda CR 125 7/6. Would change physic properties if modeled after 8/7 vs 7/6 I would think. I sent the mad Brit a wholespare notchy buy somewhat servicable Husky CR 125 clutch pack (The whole shebang) to experiment with. Hope it helped him. what plates from stocker are retained? Just curious. Looks same concept as others but unless I am seing it wrong....simply moves other way into middle of clucth disk pack and operates on same principle. I also can see how by adjusting cable slack how it can have all 3 properties it does. Don't know how he will peel back the onion to get a hydrualic to do same though as slave cylinder auto adjusts.....hmmm on th ehydraulic setups...got me wondering now.
The guy who bought the '10 WR125 from Bottone's, had Fran send the clutch assembly to Rev Loc to work out the details of the clutch. Looks nice, but my EFM works sweet!
Pretty cool allright. Almost seems too good to be true. How could a mousetrap get any better than this?
That's a neat device. Looks a heck of a lot better than all those little balls in the Rekluse (thought I have to say I love my Rekluse). The music in their promo video cracks me up.
Yes, similar to the pressure plate autoclutch but differs in that you still retain the stock pressure plate and springs. This allows completely stock feel and operation but with autoclutch functionality. Instead of the pressure plate full of balls and ramps the whole thing is contained in one large fiber plate. Will test this evening. I really like the concept and am told it works very well. It is adjustable for slippage and engagement via some little springs you can add or subtract.
Aren't these guys in Denver, Kelly? I'd be interested in one for my WR300, but I can wait for you to get some inventory.
They are. I think they have that one already. Get it from them or me, does not matter. I will be offering discounts. You can Email me if you want one. I will also be testing and evaluating engagement points and things for all models.
Not near as glamorous as it seems. Usually spend a half day, near the truck, with tools everywhere doing little laps and adjusting stuff. When I was messing with the PWK carbs A guy came over to see what the heck I was doing and thought I had major issues as I had the carb off and apart about 20 times
I like the price that is for sure. On paper this thing sounds excellent. They are even going to make them for Gas Gas . Not sure I will get one in the near future . But that is because I don't have a lot of extra cabbage at this point and some other things are higher on the list.
don't fell privledged about them making for GG...They use Honda plates ..same as 2 stroke Husky........
