Twisted Throttle has the RG tail tidy on sale for $104 (US) with free shipping. I had been considering buying for some time but $185 seemed way over priced. Fitted one on a DRZ400, another on a mate's TR a few years later. Once they're down to what they're really worth (about 20 bux max!!) I might...maybe.... think about wasting another Saturday afternoon to fart around to actually re-manufacture one of those to make it fit the bike it was sold for. I'll happily keep snoozin' until then...
Tomboyjr you didnt miss anything! The most frustrating installation I have ever experienced. I love the end result, but not sure it is worth it. Definitely looks better and is far more solid. I believe I was more worried about the stock rear fender breaking, as I have read is not uncommon on the Terra, and not being able to source a replacement years down the road...
