It started raining here so it must the rainy season? Anyway, I've been wanting to go across the highland roads again after their grading a few months back. There's lots of raw dirt up there and with the last few days of general raining here, my ~new 19" rear knobby, and a 2010 TC250 Husky, the dirtbike riding table is set.

This ride also goes to Tag Hill using what I call the Outer Lusaran Loop route ... One of about 6 different variations for the trip over to Tag... Mountains are about 2800' high across here I rode...

One ridge line over is Mount Manunggal at a height of ~3100' .. In 1957 a plane carrying the Filipino president crashed here.

They removed the bodies and left the wreckage there I think and it has just recently all melted away. You can also see it had all been logged out by '57 ...

Traction was plentiful and looked like rain but never happened ... Just lots of clouds adding to the view.

This is pretty much the start of the climb and the dirt was there as expected ... With the sun behind the clouds, the contourRoam does a much better job of showing details...

Not sure if the high road I took at the intersection was graded the last time I was there or not but it looked a little loose but I went up it anyway ... Lots of those things that look like ruts looked like they were gonna break off from the mountain side ...

I'll have to follow this out further the next time I'm over there. That top side with the clouds rolling in was pretty cool to see.

This vid is a little longer and shows the different road conditions and life out there. Easy riding sections like this and I rest, try to enjoy the view and roll the bike as much as possible to save fuel.

That river area was funny to watch the locals cross with their 125 bikes all loaded ...It's times like this when it shows how much BSing I miss out on with the locals because I do not speak the language here.

This is out of the mountain range and rolling down to the lower Tag River ...Though I was gonna have to backtrack and go back the way I came unless I could get one of the locals to help with the correct spot to cross.

Little back tracking here to that small river intersection ... There was a lot of action there I thought. Usually don't put alot out here on the locals because I do not want to see any of their lives exploited by some lowlife character that has access to the WWW but these 2 VIDS show a little on how these guys use bikes and how essential a motorcycle is for this nation. Essential, not a luxury ...

This guy takes the shorter more direct route ... If nothing else, these have to be very careful not to blow a tire or bend a rim..

The water here is always crystal clear and not too cold ...It's got to be naturally fed.., And yep, it is ridable upstream if a person wanted to do such a thing ..

We were laughing because this guy took a longer but easier route across the water. Traffic is ungoverned at this crossing point ... Dan'l Boone style ...

Next time you load a truck full of dirt with a shovel, let me know. I'm a dirt shoveler from way-back in the cotton fields of the great state of AR but never did that. My hats off to anyone who has performed this feat. Myself, when growing up, I did a lot of work that I found out later that Americans do not want to do, now a-days ...That was a little weird to me to say the least. I've outlived life as so many before me.
