Any recommendations for riding gear for us bigger guys? It seems most brands only go up to 38" waist, which will fit, but I'd like to have a little more room if possible. Thanks in advance for foregoing any pigs on wheels jokes.
Answer Racing claims to have pants all the way up to size 50. Fly, Fox, Moose, MSR and a few more brands all claim to have pants in a size 40. Check out this page: http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/t/44/-/440/741/Pants
Thanks. Ended up going with Moose (appropriate for Alaska). Ordered a Leatt brace and armor as well. Don't want to bust my old fat @$$ up when I fall off.
I found that O'Neal make the most comfortable "fat bastard" pants. Problem with the bigger sizes is that you're generally limited to just the black/white colours, not the other more desirable ones.
That's because black and white have long been known in the fashion industry to be the most slimming combination of colours and almost guaranteed to hide fat bastard beer bellies.
its more comfy if you use some pipe insulator foam with that duct tape for a neck brace! works for meeeeeeee!
I got my last set of 42" pants from a fellow Cafe Husky member....anytime I spot a set gathering dust I buy them, sometime dirt cheap because nobody else wants them...
Im a big guy, this is what I settled with. Moose 40 pants, fox airframe xl chest protector, fox xxxl bomber gloves, fox xxl jersey and xxl Thor Carbon force helmet Ebay has tons of riding gear in your size.
I found the most comfy boots Ive tried are the Fox F3 Race boots. Usually I am a size 12 but I ended up fitting in a 13 though so try on one size bigger than normal.
And while we are at it, the Kali helmets are also sized a bit larger than normal and a super lightweight to boot.
