250-500cc Ring gap

    Quick question... if a ring gap service limit is .024" then what would you set ring gap to at install?

    Bike in question is a wr300 and replacing the stock cast piston. Both rings measured .011" near the bottom of the cylinder. 'A' piston in an 'A' cylinder

    And does anyone know the actual service limit for ring gap on this bike?
