How many of the motorcycle riders wear go pro on your helmets?

I was just watching the motorcycle vs cars road rage on you tube.
Plus the dirtbikers who have the go pro too.

    It's taping/recording everything. Pros & Cons??

I was purposely attacked by a nut on my Harley a few years back. Pulled up behind him at a left turn, saw crazy eyes in the mirror. Guy took off and almost caused an accident with oncoming traffic. Caught up to him at the next light hoping to get his tag number and call him in. He blew through the light when I arrived so no luck. That's when the thought occurred to me..."Does this nut job think I'm a cop?"

Light changed and figured he was long gone...until I came around a curve. He was stopped at the next light and oncoming traffic was heavy (Hollywood at rush hour). When he saw me he threw it in reverse and came right for me. I laid down a hundred foot rubber snake trying to stop, but didn't matter, he kept coming.

Backed into me and knocked my bike over. Luckily I had just stopped so it was minor, but I'll never forget that he made sure to look right at me as he knocked me over and took off the other way. By the time I got the beast up and over to the curb to call the cops, he was long gone for real this time. I wish I had a GoPro that day, would have happily turned the footage over to the LAPD.

I had a two lane road were both Harley riders in front of me seen me coming in the open lane. One came in my lane to block the jap bike but they were staggered. I was on the 1200 bandit. I put it in second gear and wicked it. I zig zagged between both of them and got in the front.one got really hot there was plenty of room to signal and change lanes quickly. I think his wife was making fun he got taken, big tough Harley guy she was fueling the fire. I was home and could hear his Harley up and down the main drag looking for me. I'm in my open lane and want to go. I'm not out profiling or looking cool I just wanted to get home I wasn't in the mood. My Italian temper got the best of me.
25 years ago it was my fault those guys on Japanese bikes need to stay in the rear.

Another time a car full of 30yo guys who were drinking pulled in as I was getting gas At night. One said out loud he was going to slap me and take my bike. I smiled but there was six of them and I had my six buddies in my pocket. They stayed in the car.

I was going down my road when a Harley chick backs out of her driveway right in front of me. I was sideways to avoid her.

Another time at a stop sign I had a Beagle dog jump up go horizontal and bite me. I thought I was in a cartoon. My jaw dropped.

I just got back from LA Saturday. Lots of angry drivers there. Never seen so many pissed off people over nothing or heard horn honks so freaking much. WTF? Here we have the opposite problem, people are to freaking nice, just drive man, you don't need to let me in, just drive.

I have a good friend who used to live here and visit his folks in Iowa for the holidays.

He said he didn't need a map or road signs to know he was back in Cali, as soon as people started driving like aholes he knew he was back.

I think it's been about 3 years since he moved back to Iowa...

I struggle with riding sreet. Its a love hate relatiuonship. I got a rd bike two years ago and have been blown away with the amount of people that go out of their way to eff with you. I also discovered I become homocidal when people want to ram me into walls because they are texting. Just the other day some dipchit was tailgating me and there was a car in front of me so I wasnt going anywhere. Finally the rd opened up and so did i...but sure enough he was right on my ass. So I swerved over to let him by and the dick has the nerve to flip me off as he passed. I have had empty mcdonalds bags thrown at me, I have had people driving in a parking lot pretent to open thier door to pretend knocking me over. I had no I idea there was so much animosity towards street bikers out there.

You guys do what you want but I found this long ago the hard way ... It is best to leave belligerent people alone unless you want some of it. This place here is a long, long ways from anything close to perfect but the people are not belligerent and mesh together in their daily, public lives. Maybe the small area of the island drives this ~harmony with fellow citizens....I'm not sure why but these guys are one together. Same as I don't understand why Americans are so belligerent so often to fellow Americans. I can only conclude we all are, what we are.

Don't be on the evening news due to someone elses' issues with living.

At one time I held an AMA Pro/expert road racing license. I ride an older CBR, but can make that bike do some crazy stuff still - I am very much in charge while riding that bike.

With that said... I've been thinking about selling it and buying a Mustang GT, just to feel a bit safer in traffic.

Always good to have the biking skills and I know it saves all of us but no matter what your skills are, who knows what the others skill levels are at? I use my dirt bike skills out there often to just get away from traffic as much as possible.

I have to get on the road here on the TC bike .. It's zoo-mode here at times (early and late days when its cooler) and I was thinking of putting some sort of cheap mirrors on it for those rides ... lane sharing here at a crazy level and you gotta hold your line most times on the hardtop...

What I like to do is head-out around ~11AM when it is really hot and most people are not moving around then on the roads and most here are eating around then till ~1PM so traffic is thin and the mountain roads have few people standing and playing in the roads ... I know the return is gonna be packed with people \ kids on the road so it's gonna be slow and that's ok as I'm tired anyway.

People are dicks. There have been several homicides around Milwaukee lately over road-rage. Group of punks recently pulled a 49 yr old father of 2 out of his car and beat him to death over being "disrespected". It's sad. When I leave the house, I ALWAYS have .357 reasons with me that I won't be a helpless victim. Hope it never happens, but Surprise, wrong choice of victims.

I carried my 44 mag all the time on my street bike day and night. I mind my own business 99.75% of the time. I practice more self control. Try to be laid back. A new mustang gt is on my list maybe soon.

that's some heavy shit you blokes carrying firearms around with ya & prepared to use them! I don't mean to be at all disrespectful to any of you guys & yes bad shit happens here too but what sort of way to live is that?! I do tend to agree that sometimes immediate justice is much better served to some scumbags to rid the earth of some dead wood oxygen thieves. again I don't mean to offend anyones way of life & genuinely not trying to ruffle feathers here I just cant fathom getting around with a gun on me(especially with my missus & young kids although I guess that's part of protecting your family). road rage is no good, everyone just needs to chill out. I hate tail-gaters!

Carrying a gun is actually a humbling experience and at least for me makes me want to avoid issues and people. Its strickly for those scenarios when bad stuff is likely to happen and nobody will be there to help. This is a huge country with lots of nook and crannys where the only police is likely to be you.

when seconds count police are only a minute away. i live in a very low crime area and will flee whenever i have the chance. i have no desire to be a hero but i will defend myself..thats really all it comes down to.

I try and get my kicks off road today. I think the numbers are more stacked against us today regarding safety. Not sure if anyone takes drivers ed, learns anything, etc... No more pride in driving skills and road etiquette.

thats for sure..how many people under the age of 40 even know how to drive a stick anymore? thats part of the problem in my opinion, one less thing to pay attention to, so minds wander...

I been driving stick for ten years im still under thirty ;)
But thats the difference from big country usa and small roads uk we have to have more mx aceleration rather than cruise for 2 hours to get anywhere.
Yup road rage sucks i just ignore it you cant intimidate me if i dont care and ive not had anyone get out or threaten me but if they do i will ride over them as i leave.
