    Guys,
I took the Terra on its first "road ride" well I did head up to the Carolina Brewery, in Pittsboro, NC on Sunday....As normal I was on RST* and left a bit late....I went the back way through Broadway...The day was overcast and rain forecasted through out the day. Last Sunday I headed the weather guys forecast and missed out on what was probably a good days ride....I was determined not to repeat that scenario.
I took the Terra for several reasons, I wanted to see how well it rode to judge whether or not to order up the seat concepts cover and foam kit....
and to check out a couple of the functions on its dash. One is to show much fuel has been consumed. Knowing there is about three gallons I wanted to see if it worked...and survey says....its close enough....As returned home I pulled into the area by Peaden's seafood it showed I had used 2.2 gallons . So I pulled into the quick stop and topped off...Sure enough it took just 2 galllons of top it off....the trip odometer showed a bit over 125 miles on it. So not bad for range...but I only have about 500 miles total on the bike....I also wanted to check the speedometer against my GPS, not bad only two mph discrepancy....
Back to the ride it was overcast with high clouds all the way...did see a very small patch of blue once....It was a nice ride there and back, getting miles on the Terra is fun.....I may give the folks at Seat Concepts a call today.....

I found the UG .."used gallons" indicator is dead on balls accurate! As good almost as a fuel gauge as long as you reset to zero at fill up. My temp gauge is off now that I added a booster plug but wouldn't go back. The positives far outweigh the negatives.
