Rolling chasis - what is it worth?

    I know where I can get 3 rolling chassis for whatever I feel they are worth. The three are (2) 1979 and (1) 1980 CR 250\390 chassis. Wheels, and forks, triple clamps, handlebars, airbox and frames but no rear shocks or seats or gas tanks. Any thought on what these are worth? I want to be fair with the seller. I most likely will use one of them and sell the other two.

    The 1980 rolling chassis is worth the most .. maybe $75 to $100 ..... the 1980 swingarm is 1" longer and makes the bike more stable...the swingarm is worth $100 by itself... the rest of it just gets thrown in with it......... also if it is a CR frame it is worth more.... it is the one I would keep if it were my choice and would build it as a 390.... IF he has the 1980 390 motor laying around , see if you can get it to.... even in non running condition... hard to find and valuable....

    The 79's maybe $50 each...

    Just my opinion... frames are a dime adozen on ebay and are expensive to ship..... so if you have local rolling frames, these would be fair prices...

    I think HuskyT pretty much hit the nail on the head, especially the part about building a 1980 390 CR with the long swingarm, and sell the rest. If (IF) you want to spend the time parting them out, you'll make way more back than you 'invest' if you get them at that price. Actually, I think they're worth a little more than that. $125-$150 for the 1980 and $75-$100 for the 1979's? It really depends on what parts they come with. There are parts, and there are gems... like a 1980 CR swingarm!!
