Trick or Treat Racing. It's that time of year again and my annual race is here, well, not mine, but my club's race. You are welcome to come out and join us, everyone that does seems to love the track.
I'll be there - done every race of the series. Ya, I'm having a good time. Not gonna make it to the last round, however. Something kinda came up down near El Hongo & Rancho Santa Veronica.
Similar to what you rode, I like this course a little more because it's a grand prix. It is a bit different because they take you into the back canyon. We invented this race series, so I like to think That this is the big event of the year, at least We do a good job of making everyone happy.
Just boosting the big six series, I did the 29 Palms GP on my KTM250EXC...hmmm so that's like , well early 2000s it was a flat out blast, these are fun. for sure. glad the Coastie (retired...) is heading south for the Tecate Enduro!!!
Yep, the soon to be retired Coastie will be in Tecate this December. This year at 29 Palms Justin Seeds looked like a beast but it was all Colton Udall. The Coastie got 3rd in the old, fat, bald guy class.
OK, so I'm all signed up. The XTRM site that I linked to from the Big 6 site was a little confusing at first until I realized you need to set up an account before you can even look for an event to enter. Anyway, I'm (still) a little confused since this is my first GP entry. I entered Sen. Hwt Beginner which I assume from the flyer is race 11 or race 13 on Sunday. But the confirmation said Oct 31. I guess I don't wanna show up for the wrong race on the wrong day since I already paid so any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
I've done a lot of racing and sure confuses me. I figured I would be in #13 but have not entered. Looked like the GP logo next to the race inferred the series racers. No Sportsman defined and I was only Sportsman last race so not too clear. Surf or sand... Huge dillemma
I wonder if the hill on the track will be used and crashed on again I got lucky hitting it just after folks started turning around.
I totally would have made the hill with ease if that guy didn't try to stick his helmet under my front tire!
