Zip Ty forgot my clutch slave bleed rubber cap and I'm loath to pack that fitting with mud and sand so before I ride, I need a new cap. Well well. Try SB Motorsports who sells KTMs and a lot more. Gee... Can't find any. Stopped at O'Reilly Auto Parts... Figured a no brainer there and might have to buy them in a bulk pak. Another dumb stare. Not worth traveling for a silly $.50 cent cap I assumed would be easy enough to replace. I am unwilling to pay $10 shipping since assume one could put in in an envelope with a stamp. In any case, anyone got a spare? Hate to have to buy an entire clutch slave to get the cap Found one value priced at $1.40 plus $9 shipping http://www.hrpworld.com/store/defau...er-screw-dust-cap/bleeder-screw-cap-each.html
Check around at some Japanese MC dealers. They might have some in stock...otherwise cut a vacuum cap short and fit it on temporarily.
Wow... Fast on the replies! I'll prod my Ducati dealer as I'm sure they have one and they are 4 blocks away. My KTM dealer surprised me. They sell Yam, Suz, KTM and Honda.
Wow. I would've thought you'd get 2 at half that price. Didja try honda or even an auto-parts store- bleeders are kind of a commodity.
Me too. I said in my initial post the bike shop and auto parts store. Cheaper in the end to not drive or ride and not waste my time. Makes me wonder about businesses today. It felt like maybe I was speaking French and they could not understand... Où est le Brake bleed screw cap? I bet service had a box of them. The auto parts guy really was clueless like he was a stocker at 7-11 before he got that gig.
did a quick ebay search... these aren't Brembo but they might work ($1.95/pair delivered): https://www.ebay.com/itm/Goodridge-...ash=item4b2cfd1cfa:g:nSgAAOSwI59aB77f&vxp=mtr
Damn... and free shipping. I got ripped. Oh well. I don't buy fru fru coffee so am ahead of the game.
