Dear Cafe Husky friends, Just ordered a 2010 run out TE 310. Very happy with the deal and have ordered a little bit of bling too. Pick her up next week, I can hardly wait. I sold my lovely and totally reliable TE 450 and tossed and turned for ages wether to get the 450 or 310. Basically being an older bloke and riding mostly ST I finally opted for the 310. It was a hard decision as both bikes have incredible merit. I was never in danger of swapping brands as my last 4 huskies have been so incredibly reliable and great bush bikes. I love the close ratios, solid feel and brilliant tracking and braking from Huskies, and no head shake. This will do me for the next 2-3 years by which time we might yet have a 350, now wouldn't that be a nice option.

    Cheers to all.

Congrats on the new bike there mate. Hopefully you love the 310 just as much as your 450. And if you don't, you can always go back.

Hi GHTE, I have a KTM450 and seriously thinking of jumping ship and taking on the TE310. I have been doing some major thinking on this one. Really struggling with what to do. Then the next decision is whether to wait for the 2011 or not. I two am in AUS located at Port Macquarie. Love single trail and tigther s/t. I would like to contact you to discuss your new acquisition. I just dont know how to send you a message to ask for your contact details.

I would really like to know about your bike, the pruchase and the accessories etc.

there are only a few differences between the te 310 and 450 probably only one is really the power delivery on the 310 is much more user friendly than the 450 were the 450 will were you out trying to tame it in the tight stuff and as for the 2011 310 well this bike will be based on the 2010 250 so the new 310 will be much lighter bike with good power this is probably what I'm am getting when out hope they are not to expensive ps i have a 09 te450 and this bike has had lots of mods to get the weight down it is only 2kg heavier than the 250 and is still a handful in the tight stuff so i to am in the thinking game what to do ??? and as for accessories there is lots and most stuff the dealers have or get what ever you want i have never had a problem

Husky Bom, thanks for your comments. My instinct is to wait for the 2011, but sound mind a judgement says that I dont really ride well enough for to take advantage of the bikes differences so I would be better to take all the run out package of price and extras.

However big worry for me is that my riding weight would be 95kgs. I am a bit worried that I may weigh in a bit heavy for the 310. I am also 6'3 but I dont think that matters as I believe that Husky are very accommodating for tall riders.

Hey Colo I got some of that lovely bling of yours for my bike. The fabulous oil plug adaptors. In fact I got 2 sets from Trooper Lu's as my brother is owed a favour or two so I got him a present. Bloody nice bit of kit Mate.
