   Was looking to put a stabilizer on my 13' wr.
   
   Does anyone have any experience with installing? Do the welds on the stem need to be ground?
   
   I don't want to weeken the joint but it doesn't leave much space to clamp back by the tank

   I had to grind mine *SLIGHTLY* on my 09. It really is a non-issue, just do it.
